‘Whoever Nawaz Sharif meets is in the interest of Pakistan,’ Maryam tells PM Imran – Pakistan

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said Sunday that whoever her father and fellow party leader Nawaz Sharif met in London was “in the interest of Pakistan”.

Maryam’s remarks were a reaction to Prime Minister Imran’s remarks at a parade ground in Islamabad. The prime minister said without revealing Sharif’s name, “Does the country want to know who the man sitting in London is dating and whose direction the Pakistani-based characters are following?”

Shortly after her marathon speech, which she claimed to be a ‘foreign-funded conspiracy’ to overthrow his government, and that he had written evidence, Maryam defended PML-N Suprimo, speaking at a rally in Gujranwala.

She said Nawaz is “the son of Pakistan” and that his meeting in London “is for the benefit of Pakistan and 220 million people”.

Maryam argued that Prime Minister Imran should have disclosed the “secret” he decided to hide during his speech, arguing that he had “evidence” of a conspiracy against his government.

Maryam beat the prime minister to insult his opponents, saying that Imran Khan should be the first person in the country to be called a “diesel”. .

She claimed that Prime Minister Imran’s claims of one million have failed to attract an audience of 10,000 at a public meeting in Islamabad.

Noting dissident PTI leaders who have strongly signaled their defection, Maryam said Nawaz was “the only pitcher in the world to have Imran’s 24 wickets with one ball in London.”
