Security forces kill 4 terrorists in North Waziristan IBO: ISPR – Pakistan

On the night of March 27-28, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the area of ​​Khyber Paktunk and Jala Fort in northern Waziristan region, killing four terrorists, the Military Media Affairs wing said Monday.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted based on reports of terrorists in the general area of ​​Jhallar Fort.

Four terrorists were killed in intense gunfights during the operation, one of the terrorists identified as Jar Sadulla, the statement added.

“The identities of the remaining terrorists are being determined,” the statement said.

He added that weapons and ammunition were found in the possession of the murdered terrorists who had “actively participated in terrorist activities against security forces.”

“The people of this area are grateful for the operation and have expressed their full support for the removal of the threat of terrorism from the area,” the statement said.

The incident comes days after four soldiers were martyred in the Hassan Khel district of North Waziristan during a clash with terrorists trying to infiltrate Pakistan from Afghanistan.

ISPR said that the terrorist’s attempt at the time was unsuccessful and that the intelligence report said it suffered “great casualties”.
