PTI dissident Noor Alam and PPP leaders involved in fight with elderly at hotel in Islamabad – Pakistan

PTI dissident Noor Alam Khan and PPP leaders Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Faisal Karim Kundi and Senators Nadem Afzal Chan met in Islamabad on Tuesday. I had a fight with an unidentified old man at a hotel in

Videos shared via various social media accounts showed Khokar and Co approaching the elderly amid a commotion in what appeared to be a restaurant.

Kundi picked up a glass from a nearby table and threw the contents at the old man, who responded by throwing it back at the PPP politician. When the old man tried to catch another for a throw, Khokhar approached him and punched him in the head.

When PTI dissident Khan joined and tried to catch him before the two parties separated, the elderly lost their balance and fell to the floor.

How this brawl began and who instigated it is still unclear.

Later, Noor Alam called the police and filed a complaint describing his version of the case.

Noor Alam claims he was abused and threatened.

In a handwritten complaint to a station staff at Thana’s Secretariat, he said he was at a hotel with friends, including Khokhar, Chan, Kundi and Sheikh Waqas Akram, when an unknown man abused him and threatened to kill him.

PTI MNA said he initially ignored the threat, but the man threatened him again in Iftari’s time when Khokhar tried to reason with him.

“The man didn’t stop and attacked me and Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar with intent to kill, at which point we tried to stop him to defend him,” he claimed.

Noor Alam has complained that PTI employees have been ill-treated in the past, and there is a video about it. He asked the police to take action against “these villains.”

Complaints were collected privately at the hotel by police officials.

PTI leaders blame Noor Alam.

PTI leaders condemned the incident, and Hammad Azhar said the situation was not as described.

Ali Haider Zaidi asked if the Supreme Court would consider the matter.

Lawyer and activist Jibran Nasir says he sympathizes with abused politicians but condemns their “violent reaction”. “Our political culture is poisonous, but [the] “The solution is compassion, not retaliation.”

Noor Alam Khan, one of several PTI dissidents found staying at the Sindh House in Islamabad last month, was voted no-confidence for him by party chairman Imran Khan. I’ve voted against it. In the end, he didn’t have to vote because the opposition at the time was able to gather enough votes on its own.
