Seven terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Turbat Gortsov district, the Pentagon’s media department said on Tuesday.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that security forces carried out an operation to apprehend “enemy outside the support of the Balochistan Peace” after obtaining information about the hiding places of terrorists in the “General Gortsov area”. .

A significant cache of weapons and ammunition “for use in terrorist activities” was also recovered.
ISPR concluded in a statement that “operations to remove the perpetrators of acts of terrorism in Pakistan will continue and will not allow them to interfere with the peace, stability and development of Balochistan.”
On February 26, security forces killed a terrorist during an IBO in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan. According to ISPR, the perpetrator was involved in terrorist activities against security forces.
